Capri’s signature attraction, this natural sea cave is 200 feet long by 80 feet wide and is only accessible through an opening measuring less than three feet high. When the sun enters the cave, the water appears to glow in an eerie blue light from below.

These three distinctive sea stacks – the tallest of which is 300 feet high – emerge from the sea directly in front of Punta Tragara. Although visitors are not permitted on the rocks, they can admire them from a boat.

Walking from Punta Tragara into town takes you through a special sliver of Caprese paradise, with luxurious seaside residences on either side, including the villa where Spanish poet Pablo Neruda stayed.

Visitors from the mainland disembark at Marina Grande, home to a distinctive cluster of colorful houses and the island’s largest beach. Local legend says that the rocks bisecting the bay of Marina Piccola were once home to group of seductive sirens.
